Obituary of David George Wilson

WILSON, David "Red"Passed away peacefully on January 22, 2018 at home at the age of 81. Loving husband of Beverly who he shared 61 years together. Dear father to Karen Quesnel (Steve), Wendy Benson (Glen), Carol Martin (Allan), Steve Wilson (Janeen) and the late David (1983). Grandpa to 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. David was one of 13 children in the McKenzie/Wilson family. He will be missed by many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. As a life long union activist David retired in 1996 as Vice-President of CAW Local 444. He was instrumental in the establishment of Sandwich Teen Action Group (S.T.A.G.) and continued to be involved in it. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. 519-253-7234 on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 10 am until time of Words of Remembrance at 12 noon in the Chapel.
