Obituary of Wayne Bauman
Passed from death to life on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at University Hospital in London, Ontario at 71 years of age. Beloved husband and dear friend of Audrey (nee Henkelman), dear father of Andrea Taylor Borg, Janet Whitson (Timothy) and Jessica Bauman (Phil). Missed by his beloved grandchildren; Rebekah Taylor, Nate, Caleb and Caitlin Whitson. Brother and brother-in-law of Irene Snyder, Gladys Bauman, Beulah and Leonhart Frede, Grace and Amos Weber, Willard and Emma Bauman, Ken and Ruth Bauman, Shirley Clymer, Marjorie and David Metzger, Clifford and Mary Bauman, Janice McArdle and Chad Fleming, Karen and John Lichty, Miriam and David Gascoigne, Lowell and Elaine Bauman. Brother-in-law to Alan and Karen Henkelman, Joan Butler, Janet and John Dinnick. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Eli and Vera Bauman (nee Habermehl); his sister Eileen Snyder, brother Harold Bauman, sister-in-law Isabelle Bauman, and brothers-in-law Mervin Snyder, Abe Clymer and Bill Butler. Wayne was a retired Science teacher having taught at Kennedy, Riverside and Herman Secondary Schools. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E. 519-253-7234 on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Friends and Family are asked to gather directly at Lakeshore St. Andrew"s Presbyterian Church (235 Amy Croft Dr.) on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 for visitation from 10am until the time of his Memorial Service at 11am. Wayne would encourage everyone to sign their donor card and let their wishes be known to their families. Donations to the LHSC Transplant Unit, the Cancer Society or the Hospice of Windsor are also encouraged.
