Obituary of Peter Petres

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Peter surrounded by his loving family on January 8, 2018 at 85 years of age. Loving husband and best friend of Renate with whom he shared 53 years of marriage. Cherished and devoted father of Nora Preet and husband Joe and Michael Petres. Adored Opa of Chelsea and Britni Preet. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Maria Petres. Peter will always be remembered for his willingness to help others especially his family and neighbors. Above all, his love and devotion to his family will be cherished forever. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Avenue, 519-253-7234 on Thursday January 11, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Thursday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Service on Friday January 12, 2018 at 10:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Michaels German Church (2153 Parkwood Avenue) for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
