Obituary of Louise LaPorte

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Louise on December 23, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Reunited with her husband Wally with whom she shared 49 years of marriage. Cherished and loving mother to Michael LaPorte, the late Candace Christian, Karen LaPorte, and Kathy Theroux and husband Ben. Proud Grandmother to Fiona, Tabitha, Jessica, Nicole, Ricky, Sean and Krista. Cherished sister to the late Cindy Sauve and the late David Workman. Louise will be missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the staff at Windsor Regional Hospital " Metropolitan Campus on 5 and 6 North for your care and compassion. As well, thank you to the staff at Devonshire Retirement Residence. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Road, East 519-253-7234 on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 2:00 pm " 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm " 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, and in memory of Louise, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer"s Association.
