Obituary of Maria Luigia Guarino

GUARINO, Maria Luigia (nee Fantetti)Passed away peacefully on December 11, 2017 at the age of 71, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife to Natale "Tony" Guarino, with whom she shared 54 years of beautiful marriage. Loving and devoted mother to Domenic Guarino, Frank Guarino and Maria Pina & husband Peter Berg. Cherished Nonna to Celina and Sophia Berg, Matthew and Michaela Guarino. Dear sister to Gennaro Fantetti & wife Anna and Nicolina Tempesta. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada & Italy. A heartfelt thank you to the Doctors and Nursing staff at WRH-Ouellette Campus for their compassionate care. A special thanks to Dr. Jina for his devoted and exceptional care provided to Maria. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. 519-253-7234 on Friday December 15, 2017 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. A funeral Service will be held on Saturday December 16, 2017 at 10:00 am in our Chapel. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Maria's life, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Windsor Regional Hospital (Ouellette Campus) Cardiac Care Unit.
