Obituary of Michael Sales

July 21, 1951-November 21, 2017It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we share the sudden passing of Michael "Mike" at 66 years of age. Best friend and devoted husband of Shelley (nee Markham) with whom he shared 45 years of blessed marriage. Proud and loving father of Heather and Keith Parent and Laura Russell and Fianc"e Dave Cayley. Adored Gramps of Noah and Simon Parent, Avery and Blake Russell and Sophie and Allie Cayley. Dear son of the late Betty Butts (1980). Loving Son in law of the late Rita (2002) and Stan (2009) Markham. Brother in law of Dale and Rosalie Markham, Greg and Linda Markham, and Audrey and Eric Sloat. Uncle of Dillon Markham. Mike retired from Ford Motor Company after 29 years as a dedicated Sheet Metal Worker and a Union Steward of CAW Local 200. He was a dedicated 3rd degree member of Knights of Columbus Council #4375 and a 4th degree member of the Dean Langlois Assembly #1789 as well as the Pro-Life Chair of the K of C for many years. Mike also dedicated his time as a Eucharistic Minister and Hospitality Ministry Member at Ste. Anne"s Church. A special thank-you to the Tecumseh and Lakeshore O.P.P. for their compassion and support during this difficult time. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL( Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234, on Friday November 24, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. K of C Prayers Friday at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at Ste. Anne"s Church (12233 Tecumseh Rd E.) on Saturday November 25, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Ste. Anne"s Cemetery. In memory of Mike, donations may be made to The Canadian Mental Health Association, Ste. Anne"s Restoration Fund or to Hospice of Windsor.
