Obituary of Gerald Famula

FAMULA, Gerald "Gerry"Passed away peacefully on November 14, 2017 with family by his side. Predeceased by his mother Marjorie (1998), his father Alfons (2004) and his niece Mikaela Scurto (2013). Survived by his wife Catherine, 3 children Abigail, Emilia & Audrey, his sister, Anne (Dr. William Wynveen), Rosalyn (Rod Power), Richard (Susan Neal), Sylvia (Leonard Scurto), and Gayle (Bruce Wintemute). Also survived by his mother-in-law Catherine Revenberg and father-in-law Ted Revenberg (Judy), Michael Revenberg (Christine), Ruth Rappa (Frank), John Revenberg, Peter Revenberg, Erin Teskey (Jeff). He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Gerry was a 45 year employee of Chrysler Canada. He was heavily involved with his children"s activities at Rose City Gymnastics and was an active board member for 6 years. He also supported his wife in her position at the Windsor Sleep Disorder Clinic by facilitating its growth and expansion. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Road East, 519-253-7234 on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 2-4, and 6-9 p.m., and will continue Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Chapel Service at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a trust fund set up for Gerry"s daughters, Windsor Regional Cancer Centre Foundation, Transition 2 Betterness (T2B) or Rose City Gymnastics.
