Obituary of Lorne Harvey Michaelis

MICHAELIS, Lorne Passed away November 12, 2017 at 79 years of age. Husband and best friend of Sherri. Loving father of Kelly (Laura) Michaelis, Jason (Alana) Riley and Kym (Keith) Riley. Loving Papa of Kourtney, Lauren, Riley, Austin, Christian and Madison. Dear Brother of Les & late Sandy Michaelis and the late Sylvia Woolison. Dear Brother in law to Melody (Henri), Greg (Diane), Wayne (Debbie) and Robin (Dave). Special thanks to Ami Fauteaux, Dr. John Minardi, Dr. B.Nhan, Dr. P. Teefy London and TMC Pharmacy. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Lorne was a positive role model throughout his life as a teacher, tradesman, mentor and coach. Lorne taught for several years within the Windsor-Essex Public School Board. He coached local young athletes both on the ice within the ranks of Shoreline Minor Hockey Association as well as on the court at Maple Leaf Racquetball Club. He took pride in being a professional entrepreneur supporting his community. Lorne loved a game of golf with his friends and spending time in Holiday Florida. Memorial visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd.
