Obituary of Victoria Elsie Mitchell

Vicky went into the arms of her loving Saviour on November 6, 2017 at the age of 61. Beloved wife to Jeff with whom she shared 34 wonderful years of marriage. Loving mother to daughter Elisabeth and husband Jamie Johnstone, and son Tim Mitchell. Proud Grandma to Katherine, Alex and Hannah. Cherished daughter to Eleanor and the late Ernest Smith (1987). Loving sister to Grant Smith. Vicky will be missed by Jeff"s family, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and trusted Him as her Saviour and was a dedicated member of Emmanuel Baptist Church for 25 years. Vicky"s greatest joy was being a mother and a grandmother. Family and friends are invited to join Vicky"s family for memorial visitation at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 5445 Walker Road, Oldcastle on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 11:00 am " 1:00 pm followed by a memorial service at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. In keeping with Vicky"s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd.
