Obituary of Joyce May Donald

Joyce May Donald left us peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday Nov 5, 2017. Born in Hamilton, Ontario to Doris and George Bates. Joyce is survived by her cherished husband of 60 years, Graham and their three loving children Kevin Donald ("milie Girard-Ruel) Ottawa, Judy Henry(Jeff) Toronto, and Sheryl Marentette (Tom) Tecumseh. Joyce was the proud and doting Mimi to Thomas, Julia, Graham and C"cile. She was the dear sister of Elizabeth Robertson of Barrie. Joyce adored her family and took great pride and interest in the activities and accomplishments of her children and grand children. An accomplished seamstress, avid gardener and longtime volunteer, Joyce also enjoyed travelling with Graham and family. A graveside service will be held November 11, 2017 at 10am Woodland Cemetery, Hamilton Ontario. The family would like to acknowledge the tremendous care and compassion provided by the health care team. In memory of Joyce, donations to Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated by the family.
