Obituary of Otto John Krohn

Passed away peacefully at the age of 95 surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 3, 2017. Reunited with his beloved wife and soul mate of 59 years, Gladys (Alpe, 2003). Cherished father to Margaret Rocco and her late husband Reginald (2000) of Welland, the late Ronald Krohn (2011), Heather Krohn of Windsor and predeceased by infant twins Paul and David (1946). Proud grandfather to Melony, Cheri, Christian, Paul and great grandfather of Jacob, Nicholas, Ocean, Serena, Gavin, Liam, Kayleb, Audrey, Holly and Danielle. Dear brother of the late Louis Krohn (2007) and his wife Joan of Regina, Saskatchewan. Predeceased by his sisters-in-law Violet Cook and her late husband Harry, and Margaret Patterson and her late husband William. Jack will fondly be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Jack retired from General Motors after many years of service as a Professional Engineer. Later, Jack founded Ottotec Marketing, a consulting firm which he operated until the age of 78. The family would like to thank the dedicated and caring staff of Huron Lodge who made Jack"s stay in the last year of his life a joyful one. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. 519-253-7234 on Monday November 6, 2017 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday November 7, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Chapel. Interment to take place at Windsor Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Jack to the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario, or a charity of ones choice.
