Obituary of Carol Ann Parent

PARENT, Carol Ann (nee Dowell) December 29, 1942-October 20, 2020 Peacefully passed on October 20, 2020 at Windsor Regional Hospital-Met Campus at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late Carl Parent. Loving mother of Kelly Parent (Mike), Kimberly Parent, Karen Serecin (Jay), Kathleen Patrick (Jim) and Colleen Parent (Jeremy). Cherished grandmother of Dillon, Brandon, Brooke, Noah, Grayson and the late Jake (2018) and C.J (2010). Dear sister of Mary Lou Bryant (the late Larry), David Dowell (Nancy), Richard Dowell (Helen), Janice Parent (Rick) and the late Charlie Dowell (Karen). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the staff at WRH-Met Campus 4th Floor West, especially Dr. Gyetvai for all your care and support. Carol was retired as a Pediatric Nurse from Hotel Dieu Grace. Her favourite moments were those spent with her daughters and grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) on Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 3:00 pm – 5:00pm & 7:00pm – 9:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 10:30 am at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. A private Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
