I became friends with Sandy through the Canadian Seniors Golf Association and spent a few days a few years ago with Sandy in Windsor setting up our Annual Tournament at Essex. I tried to see Sandy this year but missed him on the short time he was at the course. Sandy was considered by all of us as a really classy individual and we all had lots of respect for Sandy, as an excellent golfer and even more important as a good friend. I know i will miss him.
