Obituary of Maria D'Agostino

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Maria on October 16, 2017 at 92 years of age. Reunited with her husband Salvatore and parents Felice and Clelia Tortola. Loving Mother of Tony D'Agostino and wife Maria and Robert D'Agostino and wife Sonia. Cherished Nonna of Sonny (Regan), Amy (Mike), Mario (Janine), Salina and Maia. Bis Nonna of Lola, Roman and Zayne. Dear sister of the late Salvatore Tortola and wife Assunta, Domenica Tortola and late husband Frank, and the late Vincenzo Tortola and wife Filomena. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Maria retired from the Public School Board after many years of dedication. A special thank you to the staff at Huron Lodge Long Term Care and to the ER staff at Windsor Regional Hospital " Ouellette Campus for your care and compassion given to Maria. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Avenue, 519-253-7234, on Friday October 20, 2017 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers Friday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday October 21, 2017 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
