Obituary of Anna Belej

Passed away peacefully at the age of 83, surrounded by her loving family on October 7, 2017. Reunited with her husband Wasyl (1998). Cherished mother to Jozef Sokol and wife Ewa. Proud Baba to Marta and Anna Maria Sokol. Survived by siblings Seman, Melania, Teodora and Antoni all of Poland. Anna will be missed by nieces, nephew, extended family and friends. Anna was a woman of great strength who cared deeply for her son, daughter in law and granddaughters. She had a full life of being at home and going to Church every Sunday. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Respiratory wing at Windsor Regional Hospital-Metropolitan Campus for all of the loving support and hard work to ensure our grandmother was taken care of with comfort and dignity in her final hours. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. 519-253-7234 on Monday October 9, 2017 from 6:00 pm until time of Parish Prayers at 7:30 pm. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday October 10, 2017 at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Church (601 Lake Trail Dr.) from 9:30 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. In kindness, donations may be made in memory of Anna to Sts. Vladimir and Olga Church Building Fund.
