Obituary of Richard Douglas Malott

MALOTT, Richard DouglasJune 29, 1949 - September 15, 2017It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Douglas Malott at the age of 68. Predeceased by his wife of 35 years, the late Marilyn Joyce Pike Malott. Loving father to Jennifer Malott-Lynch and husband Brian and proud grandfather to Sawyer. Richard was a dedicated civil servant having served 35 steadfast years with Canada Post Corporation (Walker Road Processing, Windsor). A self-proclaimed "odd duck", he loved and cherished his family and friends he made in this crazy journey of life; even when he wasn't necessarily capable of expressing it. Visitation to take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Avenue (519-253-7234) on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 3:00 pm. - 5:00 pm. and from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to gather for a Funeral Service on Friday, September 22, 2017 at All Saints Anglican Church, 330 City Hall Square west, at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Leamington Lakeview Cemetery. In kindness and in memory of Richard, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Mental Health Association.
