Obituary of Bettina Mannella

It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of our loving wife, mother, Nonna, Bis-Nonna, sister and friend, on September 12, 2017 at the age of 80. Beloved wife and best friend to Raffaele for 56 years. Devoted mother to Rose and husband Doug Dessario and Salvatore Mannella. Proud Nonna to Danielle and husband Jevan, Kristen and husband Sidy, Natalie and husband Dave, Adam, Corey, and Aiden. Devoted Bis-Nonna to Lyla, Charlotte, Jack and soon-to-be baby Niang. Predeceased by her parents, Angelo and Angela DeMarco. Dear sister to the late Josephine and husband Giuseppe Spadafora, Frank and wife Rosetta, Louie and wife Agnes, Mary and husband Vince, Pat and wife Laura, Tony and wife Alida, Joe and wife Nancy and John. Bettina will be missed by Raffaele"s family in Italy, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends near and abroad. A special thank you to the medical staff at Windsor Regional Hospital " Ouellette Campus, for your care and compassion. We would like to thank Father Maurice Restivo CSB for your spiritual guidance throughout this journey. A special thank you to the staff at Windsor Chapel. Visitation to take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Avenue, 519-253-7234 on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 3:00 pm " 5:00 pm and from 7:00 pm " 9:00 pm. Parish prayers to take place at 4:30 pm. Funeral services to take place on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 8:45 am from the funeral home to St. Angela Merici, 980 Louis Avenue, for Funeral Mass at 9:30 am.
