Obituary of Costanzo Marro

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and nonno, at the age of 89. Born in Vitulano, Italy, he immigrated to Canada in 1965 and became a dedicated worker of Ford Motor Company (Unifor Local 200). Loving and devoted husband of 60 years to Linda (nee Valvona), father to Maria Teresa (Barry) and Antonio. Treasured nonno of Ryan, Christina, Dave and Nicholas. He will be sadly missed by his brother Vito (Phyllis), brother-in-law Alessandro (Gina). Predeceased by his parents Filippo and Maria Teresa. Now reunited with his loving brothers: late Adolfo (Rita), late Carmen and brother in-law late Giuseppe Tatti (late Maria) and late son-in-law Garry. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins; Also, many loving family members in Italy and the U.S. Thank you to the dedicated staff at Iler Lodge, the Metropolitan Hospital Medical Team, and especially the daily care workers from the LHIN. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (South Chapel), on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm. Parish prayers at 4:30pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30am on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave) procession from the funeral home beginning at 8:45am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Masks are required at Visitation, Funeral Mass, and Cemetery. Reservations are required to attend the Funeral Mass.
