Obituary of Walter Barnesky

Has gone to be reunited with his beloved wife Anna (2006) and his dear son David (2009) on September 4, 2017 at the age of 85 with his family by his side. Having family together was always very important to Walter, left behind to remember him are his children Nick, Linda (Wayne) Trofimenkoff and Andrew (Julie). Cherished grandpa of Tamara, Juanita, Vanessa, Colin, Danielle, David and Christian. He is predeceased by his siblings and is survived by many nieces and nephews from the family farm in Manitoba. Remembered fondly by the many people he met working at Chryslers and being a member of CAW Local 444 for over 40 yrs. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. 519-253-7234 on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at Windsor Christian Fellowship (4490 7th Con., off Walker Rd.) on Monday, September 11, 2017 for visitation from 9am until the time of his funeral service at 10am. Burial at Windsor Memorial Gardens to follow. As a family we would like to say a deep heartfelt thank you to all the staff and private care workers at Berkshire Place for the exceptional devotion given to Walter over the years.
