Obituary of Caterina Lo Mascolo

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Caterina surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness on August 31, 2017 at 85 years of age. Reunited with her loving husband Pasquale and cherished son John Lo Mascolo. Much loved Mother of Anna Lo Mascolo and husband Pasquale, Tony Lo Mascolo, Louis Lo Mascolo and wife Carol and the late John Lo Mascolo and surviving wife Linda. Predeceased by her parents Luigi and Giovanna Sciara. Beloved Nonna of Enza Cavallaro and husband Joe, Peter Lo Mascolo (Linda), Caterina Minthe and husband Franck, Joseph Lo Mascolo, Patrick Lo Mascolo (Kristen), Sabrina Lo Mascolo and Vanessa Lo Mascolo. Bis Nonna of Andrew, Nathan, Nicholas, Aidan, Leo, Elisa and Johnathon. Dear sister of Rosa and late husband Giuseppe Tamburello, Maria and husband Remo Birba, the late Salvatore Sciara and late wife Maria all of Italy. Sister- in- law of Giovanni Lo Mascolo and wife Giuseppina and the late Giuseppe Lo Mascolo and surviving wife Teresa of Windsor. Caterina is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) on Monday September 4, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Monday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Services with be held on Tuesday September 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. from the Funeral Home, then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In memory of Caterina, donations may be made to Hospice of Windsor Essex County or to Alzheimer Society.
