Obituary of Nick Donison

Passed away peacefully on August 30, 2017 at the age of 87 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 62 years, Marie. Dear father of Chris (Susan), Richard (2001) and Karen (Ron Jaggard). Cherished grandfather of Craig (Adrianna), Bradley, Shannon (Jeff), Dillon (Liane), and Mary Meaghan. Adored great-grandfather to Nicholas, Christopher, Abigael, Cash and Baby Donison on the way (October 2017). Survived by his dear sister Mary (Chuck) Lee. Predeceased by his parents, John (1998) and Helen (2005), and his brother Johnny (1953). Nick will be sadly missed by all of his nieces, nephews and their families. Special friend to Sal & Debbie. Nick was a lifelong member of St. Georges Romanian Orthodox Cathedral. He was also the long-time owner of Schwab"s Meats in Windsor. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Windsor Regional " Met Campus ICU, especially Dr. Dhar and RN Pam, for going above and beyond in their care. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall 519.253.7234 on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 7-9pm. Prayers at 7:30pm. A Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 10am. Very Rev. Fr. George Sandulescu to officiate. Interment will follow at Windsor Grove Cemetery.
