Obituary of Joseph Edward Danaher

Passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on August 11, 2017 at the age of 62. Cherished husband of 39 years to Brenda (nee Burnett). Loving father to Crysta (Bill) Anderson, Joel Danaher, and Dawn (Mike) Fenton. Proud Papa to Paige and Sammy Jo; Ethan and Charlotte; Jacob, Katelyn and Leah. Predeceased by his parents Louis and Patricia Danaher, and siblings Martin Danaher, Mary Lou Swidan and Bill Danaher. Survived by his siblings Lois (Jim) Leonard, LouAnn (Paul) Elshoff, Linda (Paul) Russell, Louis Danaher, Ed (Linda) Danaher, and Bob Danaher. Brother in law to John Burnett (Merry Stockwell) and Dianne (Daryl) Flacks. Donut Joe will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the ICU and 7 West WRH-Ouellette Campus for all the care and compassion shown to Joe. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Monday August 14, 2017 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Joe"s life will take place on Tuesday August 15, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Chapel. Cremation to follow. In memory of Joe, donations may be made to the Renal Dialysis Unit at WRH-Ouellette Campus or Canadian Cancer Centre Foundation.
