Obituary of Mary Patricia Mills

Born on February 22, 1936 in New Zealand; passed away August 11, 2017. Dearest wife of the late Jim Mills (2010). Survived by her nieces and nephews in New Zealand; in-laws and step-children of her late husband. Will be sadly missed by her dearest friend, Rhoda (late Terry) Young of 50 years and her God children; Niki Callow (Clay) and their children Coleton and Carson, and Darren Young. Survived by many dear friends and acquaintances. A very special thank you to Marilyn Eves and Louise Kelly for going above and beyond and Sandro for giving Rewa and Poi their daily exercise. Mary was very dedicated to her furry companion, Poi, and her deceased canine friends Taca, Tainui and Rewa. Mary was a dedicated teacher with the Windsor Board of Education for over 20 years, and previously taught in both England and New Zealand. She lived her life to the fullest by travelling, golfing, playing Bridge and Euchre with her beloved friends, and walking many miles with her dog-walking club in Memorial Park. Memorial Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Tuesday August 15, 2017 from 3:30 pm until time of a Celebration of Life in the Chapel at 4:30 pm. Cremation has taken place and a private burial will be at a later date.
