Obituary of Dino Paul Farina

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Dino after a brief battle with cancer on August 9, 2017 at 53 years of age with his loving wife by his side. Cherished husband and best friend of Sandi with whom he shared 11 years of marriage. Devoted father of Bentonio and step father of Megan and Justine Sprague. Reunited with his mother Vittoria "Gemma" and survived by his father Leonardo Farina. Son-in-law of Angela Bernard. Beloved brother of Mario and wife Bonnie and Filomena and husband Mario Petitta and brother-in-law of Don Daudlin. Adored uncle of Nicky, Michael, Teresa, and Loreta. He will also be missed by many relatives in Canada and Italy and many friends and co workers in Windsor as well as his loyal companion Nero. Dino was a dedicated employee of Chrysler (FCA) and a member of Local 444 for 33 years. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234, on Saturday August 12, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday August 13, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Sunday at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday August 14, 2017 at St. John Vianney Church from 1:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 1:30 p.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
