Obituary of Marianna Segatto

Born in San Giovanni Di Casarsa Friuli on June 2, 1929. Passed away peacefully on August 7th, 2017 surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her loving parents Regina (Iuston, 1988) and Angelo Fabris (1999). Reunited with her loving husband Angelo (2006). Loving mother of Dennis and wife Niva and Orlando. Cherished Nonna of Bianca, Spencer (Jenni Larocque) and Julianna. Loving mother-in-law of Lisa. Dearest sister of Egidio and Luciana Fabris, Livio Fabris and Rose, Sergio and Dorothy Fabris and Edda Tracanelli (late Severino). Dearest sister in law of late Rosina and husband Valerio Bontorin, Giovanna and late Carlo Casagrande, Maria and husband Giuseppe Araldi, Emilia and late husband Tommaso Sanson, Gemma and late husband Giacomo Guadagni. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, U.S.A. and Europe. Marianna was an amazing cook, and a wonderful wife, mother and Nonna to all of us. Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave, 519-253-7234 on Friday August 11 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Friday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral services on Saturday August 12 at 9:15 a.m. from Windsor Chapel to Our Lady of Perpetual Help for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Our family would like to thank all of Marianna"s care givers over the years, Dr. Peter Scarfone and his assistants Karen and Monique, Dr. Kanjeekel and the staff of WRH (Cancer Clinic), Dr. Domenico Aversa and staff, Dr. Roy Petras and staff, and all staff at Seasons Amherstburg for all their loving care to Marianna.
