Obituary of Janice Elaine Myers

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Janice Elaine (nee Tiborcz) Myers on July 11, 2017 at the age of 51, after a hard fought battle with cancer. She is the beloved wife of Michael and dear mother of Taylor and Joshua. She is survived by her mother Marie Tiborcz; her siblings Jim (Linda) Tiborcz; Jeanette (Mike) Tassey; John (Jackie) Tiborcz; Jackie (Fred) Miller; Joyce (Tony) Gossmann; Joanne Tiborcz and Julie (David) Brown. Janice is also survived by her mother-in-law Shannon Myers; and her sister and brother in laws Debbie (Bernie) Deschaine, Kim (Ron) McClintock, Robin (Brian) Ghanam, Don Jr. (Marie) Myers, Anne (Dale) Graham as well as 33 nieces and nephews and 33 great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father Michael Tiborcz (2004); father-in-law Don Myers Sr. (2015) and sister-in-law Roberta Ray (2002) and brother-in-law Doug Seguin (2001). Janice worked for more than 25 years as a dental assistant with Dr. Walter Friedl. For Janice Life was not about waiting for the storm to pass, it was about learning to walk in the rain. She was very passionate about life and about her recent journey. She loved and has been loved and supported by her many friends and family. Her legacy will remain with us far past the time we were blessed with her presence. Family and Friends are invited for visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E 519-253-7234 on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 11:00am in the Funeral Home Chapel. The Myers family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation for all of the nurses and practitioners at Met hospital and Hospice; Her Naturopath Meighan Valero and the many many friends and family members that supported Janice through this difficult journey.
