Obituary of Emily Pucovsky

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on June 28, 2017 at the age of 89 years. Emily will be reunited with her loving husband, Michael (1992).Loving mother of Greg & wife Colleen of Waterloo and John & wife Mary Anne of Ailsa Craig. Predeceased by her parents, John & Mary Midlik and sister, Martha Levandowski. She will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and great friends. Emily loved her family, working and living on the farm in Kingsville, and later on in Windsor. She treasured her independence and outings with great friends and family. Emily was a fabulous cook following in the foot steps of her mother and mother-in-law, making perogies, cabbage rolls, stuffed peppers and tortes from scratch, all very time consuming. She enjoyed vacations with her husband and later with her sister Martha. Emily loved going to the Windsor Symphony Orchestra with her friends, and enjoyed a variety of music including waltzes, polkas and tangos. She also enjoyed listening to her sons play the accordion. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Road East, 519-253-7324 on Monday, July 3, 2017 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Prayers at 7:30pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 from 9:00am until 10:00am from the funeral home, and then to St. Michael"s Slovak Byzantine Church (2100 Byng) for Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Kingsville.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Emily"s name to Windsor-Essex Cancer Centre Foundation.
