She is survived by her cherished brother Walter (friend Alice) of Rochester Hills, Michigan and Walter"s children Jim, Ken, Lorrie and their families. Leda was a wonderful and loving mother to Christine Ross (Bill), Patrick (Arlene), Philip (Dolores), Kathye Lotz (Gene), Anne Muzzin (Michael) and was predeceased by her son Andrew in 2016. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Brad Ross (Deborah) of Edmonton, Alberta, Allyson Hallahan (David), Ian Goggins (Adrienne) of Toronto, Dr. Colin Goggins (Amalia) of Phoenix, Arizona, Erica Goggins of Toronto, Justin Goggins (Adriana), Heather Krahn (David), Graham Lotz (fianc" Jenn Legge), Dr. Grace Murphy (James) of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Trevor Copeland, Vancouver and Ross Muzzin. She was an extremely proud great-grandmother to Nathalie, Spencer, Charlotte, Kieran, Amalia, Simon, Christopher, Nicolas, Jane, Alice and Nolan. She will also be missed by step-grandchildren Nicole, Allison and Jon Riggs and their spouses and families, as well as many nieces, nephews and family friends. Mom was an excellent bookkeeper during her working days, an avid golfer who played into her eighties, and loved a great book " particularly her Dick Francis mystery novels. Our mother was convinced that education was the key to opening the doors to a better life for her children whilst at the same time instilling in us a responsibility to help those more vulnerable in our community. There was no prouder mother, grandmother or great-grandmother and she will be sorely missed. The family wishes to thank the staff at Southwood Lakes Extendicare who treated her with dignity and compassion during the last months of her life. Visitation will be held at: Most Precious Blood Church 1947 Meldrum Rd. (corner of Tecumseh Rd. East and Meldrum Rd.) on Monday, June 26 from 9:30-10:30, followed immediately by a memorial funeral service. Arrangements have been entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East 519-253-7234. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to either the United Way-Centraide of Windsor Essex County or the Downtown Mission would be appreciated by the family.
