DEL COL, Maria (nee Mascherin)With saddened hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Del Col (nee Mascherin) on June 10, 2017 at the age of 88. Born March 15, 1929 in Azzano Decimo, Italy. Beloved and loving wife to Eligio (2014). Devoted mother of Christine and husband Les Dean and Frank and wife Kim Del Col. Cherished and much loved Nonna to Melissa and Christopher Bernardon and Robert Dean, Tracey and Jeff Denniss, Kelley and Jamie Bunch, Ryan and Ally Del Col. Cherished Bis-Nonna to Tyler, Jake, Chase, Quinn, Reagan. Nonna loved to spend time with her family. Maria embraced her role as Nonna and Bis-Nonna. Her chicken and her soup recipes will be shared for generations to come. She really enjoyed her time at Sunrise Retirement. The excellent staff and their compassion for Maria made her last years comfortable. She felt at home. We thank Dr. Roxana Chow for her excellent care in making Mom's final moments peaceful. A special thanks to Dr. Ken Schneider for his compassion. She will be missed by all. A private service was held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Central Chapel), 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East.
