Obituary of Anna Rosa Loreta Farina

It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Anna Farina on Thursday, June 1st, in her 96th year. Anna passed away the same way she lived each day of her life " with dignity, faith, and surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Frosinone, Italy on December 10, 1920, "Nonna", to all who knew her was a caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother; filling the role of matriarch and touching the lives of everyone who had the good fortune of knowing her. Our angel is now in heaven reunited with her parents, Tomasso and Mariace. After over 50 years, she is reunited with her husband, Giovanni Vincenzo and after six years, her son, Jerry. Anna was the rock of our family who raised us all and taught by example, what it truly means to love unconditionally. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her daughter, Luisa (Giovanni Pinese , 2013), (Antonio Luciano, 1978) and her daughters-in-law, Marie Farina and Denise Rimbert; Grandchildren, Ginetta & Gabriel Yacoub, Anna & Marcel Arbour, John & Susie Luciano, and John & Tina Farina; Great-grandchildren, Angie (Jeff), Gabe (Linda), Sara (Armand), Michael, Samantha (Andy), Kimberley, Anthony, and Danielle; and Great-great grandchildren, Brook-Lynn, Paige, Riley, and Michaela. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Monday, June 5, 2017 from 3-5 & 7-9pm and on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 3-5 & 7-9pm with Parish Prayers at 4:30pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Wed. June 7, 2017 at 8:45am from the Funeral Home to St. Angela Merici for Funeral Mass at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. We would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at WRH " Ouellette Campus, the staff at Dolce Vita Retirement Home, and the staff at Assisted Living Southwestern Ontario (ALSO).
