Well how do I say this. it's tough to find the words of course. I know everyone is going to tell you everything you already know and more. my memories are from our youth. young teens into 20 something's. Langer always had and wanted those of us around him to be happy and have a fun time. we did, thanks in large part to him. i will always remember our daytona beach long weekend. driving to florida on Thursday and coming home Monday. lots of laughs. I can't begin to imagine what you are thinking or where you go from here. I hope he stays with you in spirit. in will always remember him. My deepest sorrow, sympathies and spiritual thoughts are with you at this time and the years to come. God Bless.

I'm so very sad for all of you. Finding out about Steve passing away has been devastating as I remember him being one of the only "nice" guys in highschool. High school was a brutal time with a terrible and violent home life and fake nasty kids at school. Steve quietly took time out to be my friend as we shared a quiet understanding that life would get better some day. Just seeing him and being around him was comforting. All these years later, when I think of any "good" times in Windsor Ontario I think of my friend Steve. It seems it's always the "good" ones who are taken early. Sorry to see you go, Steve. I hope your family finds solace in your memories. Feel free to reach out some day in the future. 519-216-1012 Or look me up on FB as Janet-Lynn Morrison (short blonde hair) Wish I could be there to say goodbye, but there are too many sad memories and too many people who I remember all too well for me to come. God bless!!

Sending love and peace in this time of sadness. Stephen always made a family gathering even better. His warmth and kindness filled the space. I'm sad for the distance between us all, and seek comfort in the peace I hope Stephen did find. To Sunni, Logan and Nolan, and Aunt Sally, you are in my heart and thoughts and although miles away I hold space for you all and will do what I can to help you carry this grief and loss. To all, I love you and carry this sadness in my heart.

Sunni, Words cannot express the sorrow I felt when I heard of Stephen's passing two short days ago ... I can only hope that you, Logan, Nolan, and your extended families are doing as well as can be expected during this most difficult of times. Despite the distance between us, I have always felt I could pick up the phone and he would be willing to drop what he was doing so he could catch up with an old friend ... that's just the kind of guy and friend we all knew him to be. Sending love and hugs from the West coast, Stephen's friend and "D" partner, Brian "Freddy" Friedrich Rest In Peace Langer, until we meet again old friend ...
