Obituary of Catharina Sophia Jacobs

JACOBS, Catharina Sophia Ineke December 27, 1944 - May 13, 2017 Loving daughter of the late Adrianus (Jo) (1971) and Liza (2006). Dear sister of Peter (Judy) and Henk (Marika). Survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, friends as well as cousins in the Netherlands, New Zealand and Australia. Dear Godmother of Jennifer Brouwer, Shannon Hutton, and Noah Brouwer. Ineke was born in Holland and came to Canada with her family in 1954 at the age of 9. She worked for many years in Detroit and suburbs until her retirement in 2014. Ineke was a long time member of the Catholic Women's League. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish and C.W.L prayers at 3:30 p.m. Visiting will continue on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Our Lady of the Atonement Parish (2940 Forest Glade Drive) from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Dwayne Adam as the Celebrant. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Transition to Betterness or the Atonement Building Fund.
