MUCCIACCIO, Antonio “Tony”
October 6, 1928-October 2, 2020
Passed away peacefully at home with his loving family at his side on October 2, 2020 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of 72 years to Rufina (nee Mucciaccio). Predeceased by his parents Giovanni and Clementina. Loving father of John Mucciaccio (the late Lina) and Clementina Silvestri (Fulvio). Beloved nonno of Antonietta Silvestri, Diana Gifford (Darren), Ruth Paesano (Vince) and Antonella Belcastro (Rino). Cherished bis nonno of Alexia, Tyler, Adrian, Mikayla, Danica, Sienna, Aidan and Lucas. Dear brother of Maria Mucciaccio (the late Salvatore) and the late Antonietta Rufina Colombo (the late Michele Antonio), and Nick Mucciaccio (Anna Maria). Dear brother in-law of Vincenzo Mucciaccio (the late Maria), and predeceased by his brothers and sister in-law; Michele Antonio Mucciaccio (the late Nicolina), Domenico Mucciaccio (Itala), and Carolina Colombo (the late Celestino). Antonio is also survived by nieces and nephews in Windsor and Toronto. A special thank you to all the nurses and staff from Hospice, as well all the Personal Support Workers from St. Elizabeth Health care for all your loving care, support and compassion. Tony retired after 26 years of dedicated service at Ford Motor Company. He had a love and passion of growing vegetables and tending to his garden. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and a faithful usher for 40 years at St. Angela Merici Church. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Road East, 519-253-7234 on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 2-4:30 and 6-8 p.m. Parish prayers 4:30 p.m. Friends are asked to meet at St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. Private Entombment to follow. PLEASE NOTE: No appointment is needed for visitation. If you wish to attend the funeral mass, please call the funeral home between the hours of 8am-4pm to reserve a seat. Masks must be worn at all times while in the funeral home, church and cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Windsor and Essex County or St. Angela Merici Church would be greatly appreciated.
