Obituary of Arthur Gendreau

Passed away peacefully on May 4, 2017 at the age 86. He has gone to join his late wife Maureen and his 2 sons David and Paul. He leaves behind his children Patricia, Dennis (Christine), Daniel (Kathleen) and his loving companion Beverley and her children Mike (Krista), Jim (Cathy), Debbie and the late Brenda. Art will be always remembered by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Missed dearly by his siblings Ed, Shirley, Betty, Alma as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his siblings Robert, Joyce, Chuck and Doreen. Art retired after over 40 years with the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel, was a US Navy Veteran, a member of the RCL Branch 143 and was an avid card player and golfer. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave. 519-253-7234 on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-9pm with Parish Prayers at 3:30pm. A Veteran"s Service will be held on Sunday at 7:30pm under the auspices of the Windsor Veterans Memorial Service Committee. Family and friends are asked to gather at Our Lady of Assumption Parish (McEwan Campus) on Monday, May 8, 2017 for visitation from 9am until the Funeral Mass at 10am.
