Obituary of Wallace Harris

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, on May 3, 2017, at Windsor Regional Hospital-Ouellette Campus, at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by his loving wife the late Helen "Sally" Harris (2005). Loving father to John and wife Anita Harris, late Kathy (2007) and husband Greg Plante, Debbie Bray and Wayne Pare, Patti and husband Dave Valleau, and Barbara Liburdi. Predeceased by parents Arthur and Jesse Harris. Cherished grandfather to Andrea, John, Erin, Nicholas, Jessie, Lee, Kirk, Stephanie, Trevor, Ryan, David, Victoria, Cody, Haley, and twelve great grandchildren. Dear brother to the late Kathleen Daley and the late Ethel Arpan. Brother-in-Law to Shirley Ann Husband Steve Pfaff, Beverley Harrington late husband Joe, Robert O" Bright wife Karen, Late Brother-in-Law Gerald O"Bright late Sister-in-Law Patricia Woods. Mr. Harris was a retired employee of General Motors Canada Windsor. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Sunday May 7th, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services on Monday, May 8th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex County. A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Lawrence Aoun, staff, and students on the 8th floor at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus, for their care and compassion given to Wally and his family.
