Obituary of Leonard John Dupuis
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday April 27, 2017. Predeceased by Philip Dupuis and Judy (Ken Ryall). Survived by his spouse Lorraine (Bouma Nee' Pierre) and brother Dennis; Leonard will always be remembered by his loving children and step-children; Leonard Jr.(Claire), Alan (Bonnie), Carol (Mike), Gerald (Vesna), Randy Bouma (Terra), Carol (Rick Murphy), Sandy (Marc Quenneville), Jim Bouma (Janice), Grant Bouma (Debra), Robert Bouma (Michelle), Elizabeth Bechard (Dave Standel), Diane (Joe Leboeuf), Jean Paul Bouma. Over 100 Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren he will be dearly missed and always loved by each and everyone. Leonard will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends. Leonard proudly served in the Royal Canadian Airforce during WWII (1942-1946). Retired from Chrysler, proud member of RCL Branch 261, dedicated member of the RCL Colour Guard and K of C Council 4375. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E (519) 253-7234 on Sunday April 30, 2017 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm with Parish Prayers at 3:30pm. Knights of Columbus 3rd and 4th Degree prayers at 7pm. A Veteran's Service under the auspices of The Windsor Veterans Memorial Services Committee will take place on Sunday at 7:30pm. Funeral Services will be held on Monday May 1, 2017 at 9:45am from the Funeral Home to St. Anne's Church (Tecumseh) for Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Interment to follow at St. Anne's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Leonard may be made to the Windsor Downtown Mission.
