I have many good memories with Sandy as we were best friends. We had many good times together whether it was going out dancing or just stopping by to visit a friend we always had fun. Sandy was a very knowledgeable person as she read the news paper each day and she read a lot of interesting assortments of books. She could talk to anyone about anything and she was a very free spirited person and had deep convictions . She loved her children, Christie and Bill very much and they were her pride and joy. Then when Christie had a baby boy named Deland she was proud as punch as she had a lot of love to give. If she was alive today she would agree with laughter what had happen to her when we went over to Bobalow Is. I didn't sleep that correctly but that's ok. Sandy was very fussy about her hair . Well we were walking around for a while suddenly a sea gull flew by us and dropped some poo on her hair. Well you'd think it was a boom that dropped on her head and she went into panic mode and I tried to console her but laughing my head off. She said some friend you are, this isn't funny but I couldn't help myself as the expression on her face was priceless. We got her hair washed she begin to lighten up and I got her laughing. I took her to thank God that Elephants don't fly as she hit me with her purse. There have been many good memories that we've shared together and I am very grateful that we had each other to lean on. Christie and Bill, your Mom lived a good life although she had many physical challenges . I am so sorry you lost your Mother and Grandmother to your kids . Just know this, she loved you very very much and she was very proud of you all. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all!! Love Maggie
