Obituary of Clark Brian Dickson

DICKSON, Clark BrianClark passed away peacefully at the Strathroy Middlesex Memorial Hospital on Saturday April 22, 2017 after a brief illness. He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth and step children Candice (Dave) Cook and Eric (Diane)Beck. He was the father of Derrick and Cassandra Dickson whom he loved dearly. His granddaughters Jasmine and Hailey gave him much pleasure and affection. Clark is predeceased by his father Jerry, mother Sybil, and sister Sybil Frenette. He will be missed by his nephew Michael Deyman and cousins Bob and Jim (lynne) Neal. Clark worked for Enwin Utilities (Hydro Division) for 36 yrs before retiring and hitting the road to drive truck for Remark Farms. In his spare time he loved to sail his boat "Wind Dancer" out of Cedar Island Yacht club, where he was a member for many years. Clark served in the naval reserve on the cadet instructor"s list in many capacities over a 46 year career. He made a difference in the lives of so many young adults whose lives he touched. His family would like to thank the staff at the Strathroy Hospital who cared for him in his final days as well as the CCAC and the Windsor Regional Cancer Clinic. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Windsor & Essex County Cancer Centre. Memorial visitation at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd East, 519-253-7234. Saturday April 29th, 2017 from 3:00 pm until the Celebration of Clark"s Life at 4:00 pm, under the auspices of the Windsor Veterans Memorial Service Committee.
