Obituary of Louise Marthe Fernande Dubois

DUBOIS, Fernande (Cyr) May 22, 1932 " April 19, 2017It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and friend Fernande Dubois at the age of 84 years. She left us peacefully on April 19, 2017 with her loving family by her side after a brave fight with cancer. She is reunited with her husband Jean-Luc Dubois (2015) with whom she was married to for 60 years. Fernande was born and raised in St. Pierre de Broughton, Quebec to parents Louis Richard Cyr and Valeda Fecteau Cyr and she was a caring sister to her many siblings. She was a devoted mother to her loving children Linda Jover (Daniel), Rene Dubois (Linda) and Sylvie St-Onge (Peter). Cherished grandmother to Najette Dubois, Nathalie Jover (Jeff) Nicole Jover (Ciaran), Blake and Brent St. Onge and great- grandchildren Cohen, Ayla, Luca and Madeleine. She was also loved by many more relatives and friends. Fernande was a proud and hardworking woman with a beautiful soul and strong faith in God. She loved her crafts, travelling, music and most of all her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral & graveside service will be held at Victoria Memorial Gardens on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Elizabeth Health Care.
