Obituary of Adam Maier-Clayton

Our loving son Adam has died of rational suicide after suffering from an exotic neurobiological illness with no known cure. Born in Thunder Bay to parents Maggie Maier and Graham Clayton. Adam graduated from Riverside Secondary School and Algonquin College majoring in business. Many friends will remember him from his school days, extensive years playing soccer, his fitness efforts and local employment. Adam became a standout advocate for broadening eligibility to Medical Assistance in Dying for those suffering intolerable, incurable pain due to physical or mental illness. He will be greatly missed by his grandmothers Brenda Clayton and Nessie Maier, and by other members of the family. Friends and supporters are invited to gather with the family at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 2 p.m. until the time of his Celebration of Life at 3:30 p.m. In honour of Adam and to support his cause, donations to the British Columbia Civil Liberties Association for their legal challenge to Bill C-14 would be appreciated. Condolences may be left at www.windsorchapel.com.Please make donations by Cheque or by visiting their website at www.bccla.org
