Obituary of Carmine Fazio

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on April 7, 2017 at Windsor Regional Hospital- Metropolitan Campus. Reunited with his loving wife Iole with whom he shared 49 years of marriage. Loving and devoted father of Rossana Tierney and boyfriend Michael Brown, Maria Tolmie and husband Dan, and Gianni Fazio and wife Susie. Predeceased by parents Giuseppe and Rosa Fazio. Cherished Nonno of Melissa Poisson and husband Roy, Alex, Jacob Tolmie and wife Samantha, Corey, Sabrina and Matteo. Bis Nonno of Jax and step grand-daughter Maddy. Carmine will also be missed by his loving girlfriend Emilia Vizzaccaro. Dear brother of Cesidio, the late Gaetano, the late Domenic, the late Valerio, and the late Anna. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Carmine retired from the City of Windsor in 1992 after many years of dedicated service. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, 519-253-7234 on Tuesday April 11, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Prayers Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday April 12, 2017 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In memory of Carmine, please dedicate a mass at your local parish in his name or make a donation to The Canadian Cancer Society.
