It is with a heavy heart that I send along my condolences to all of Mark''s family and to Kathy. My path with Mark will forever be remembered and cherished. His leadership / mentorship fostered my professional growth, he was truly a one of a kind manager. His ability to connect with people and make each individual feel truly unique was his gift. I will forever remember the larger than life man, that incredible laugh and his commitment to his team. Marks team always came out on top. I am truly sorry to hear that Mark has been suffering as of late. It is my honest hope that each of you know just how many people his greatness influenced. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sending much love to the Fortais family. Some of my happiest years were spent working with Mark, in Windsor, when we were both at Fournier Pharma. His love for life, his sense of humor and his larger than life presence I will always fondly remember. My thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time.

I just heard this very sad news and wanted to say how very sorry I am to Mark''s friends and family. I worked with Mark at Fournier and always remember him to be larger than life! I knew Mark through work. He was a smiling face, a kind and friendly person who always had something positive to say. He was fun at company meetings and just so full of life. I was so sorry to hear of the passing away of Mark. I worked with him for 11 years at Fournier and he was an integral member of the team and culture that existed. He was intensely loyal to the Company, his team, and always extremely supportive of everybody. So many memorable and fun times to remember during conferences and overseas trips. He was often the life and soul of the party and his absence will be sorely missed. Truly a unique and irreplaceable colleague.
