Obituary of Mattia Cusumano

Passed away peacefully on April 6, 2017 at Heron Terrace at the age of 89. Reunited with her beloved husband Vito (2008). Loving mother to Peter Cusumano and wife Elizabeth, and Isidor (Sino) Cusumano and wife Piera. Cherished Nonna to Vito, Jacob, Kamryn and Maria. Dear sister to Andrea and wife Lina Vivona. Predeceased by siblings Steve Vivona and wife Maranina, Maria Faraci and husband Pasquale, Zina Taranto, Tony Vivona and wife Janet, Sebastiano Vivona and surviving wife Vincenzina and sister in law Onofria Riggi and husband Frank, Maria Melito and husband Frank; of Italy, Gaspare and sisters in law Vincenzina, Giovanina and Liboria. Dear cousin to Tony Bonanno and late wife Ida. Mattia will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Canada and Italy. The family would like to thank the Doctors, nurses and staff at Heron Terrace for all of the care and compassion shown to Mattia throughout the years. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Sunday April 9, 2017 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish Prayers at 7:30 pm. Family and friends are invited to meet at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Rd.) on Monday April 10, 2017 from 9:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 10:00 am.
