Obituary of Velma Laura Lefebvre

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 5, 2017 at the age of 94 years. She has been reunited with her husband Earl (1992) of 47 years. Loving mother to Joyce (Brian) Perisic, Barb (Alan) McMillan, Robert (Vera) Lefebvre and the late Jo Anne Renaud (1995). Special "mom" to Dave (Dale) Green. Adored mimi to Jamie (Michelle Brugge), Christine (Jeff) Hooper, Kim, Caron, Carmon, Stephanie, Shelly (Brad) Gagnon, Stacey, and the late Jay (1970). Great-grandma to 16 and great-great-grandma to 1. Predeceased by her siblings, Helen Bendyk, Eugene Rousseau, and Lucille "Babe" Sliva. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Velma will be leaving behind her dear friend of 78 years, Florence Rousseau and her late friend, Daphne Snow.The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Heron Terrace Nursing Home, especially RPN Danielle Baillargeon and PSW Jane Greenway for their care and compassion during mom"s stay. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E, 519.253.7234 on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 3-5 & 7-9pm. A Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 11am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
