Obituary of Francesco Marano

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 1, 2017 at the age of 76. Beloved husband to Vita (nee Bileti), with whom he shared 47 years of marriage. Loving father to Giovanna Dafonte (Domingos), Franca Salvador (Rito), and Rosanna Worley (Tim). Proud Nonno to Vanessa and Daniella Dafonte; Luca and Teo Salvador; Isabella and Violet Worley. Survived by his brother Antonino (Tony) Marano in Canada and his sisters Rosetta and Lina in Italy. Brother in law to Antonina Minaudo (late Carlo), late Francesco Bileti (Maria), Caterina Flores (Joe) and Paolo Bileti (Donna). Dear friend to Jack Agosta and Gaspare Fallea. Francesco will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Along with spending time with his beloved family and friends, Francesco loved planting and cultivating his garden. All were welcomed to his table where they would share an espresso and engage in great conversation and laughter. The family would like to thank Dr. Aoun and the palliative staff at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare for all of the care and compassion shown to Francesco. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Wednesday April 5, 2017 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish Prayers at 4:30 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday April 6, 2017 at 8:45 am from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Francesco to Transition to Betterness.
