Obituary of Miroslav Katic

KATIC, Miroslav Passed away unexpectedly with his family by his side on March 22, 2017 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of 59 years to Ljubica (nee Deraj). Loving father to Slavica Katic and husband Rudy Haggeman, and Maryanne and husband Rocco Urbano. Cherished and proud Dida to Julie Francesca Urbano. Predeceased by sisters Slavica Lekic and surviving husband Antun, and late Danica and husband Frank Vranic. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Miroslav immigrated to Canada in 1967 with his young family. He dedicated his work life to Fabco, where he retired in 1997. He enjoyed going to his cottage in Manitoba with his wife, listening to music, fishing, hunting, spending time with his friends and dog Puba, but most of all, he cherished his time with his Pupich (Rosebud) Julie. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Friday March 24, 2017 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers at 8pm. Funeral Services on Saturday March 25, 2017 at 8:45am from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church (1701 Turner Rd) for Funeral Mass at 9:30am. Interment Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
