Obituary of Thelma Elizabeth Gerrard

On Saturday March 18, 2017, Thelma peacefully passed away at 92 years of age at Huron Lodge, surrounded by her children. Cherished wife of the late Glyn (1988), and mother of the late Enid (1951). Beloved mother of Susan, Paul and wife Sue, and Dennis and wife Sandra. Loving grandmother to Morgan, Andrea, Devon and Eric Gerrard. Thelma joins her sisters Mildred Osborne and husband Earl, Florence Moran and husband Alex, and brother Ernest Kempson and wife Jean. Thelma was a long term member of ACW B Branch of St. Marys Church. A special thank you to the compassionate and caring staff at Huron Lodge for making Thelmas final months comfortable as well as to her wonderful neighbours Patti and Dave Carter, and Daniella and Tal Czudner, who constantly looked out for Thelma. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Tuesday March 21, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Family and friends will be received at St. Marys Anglican Church (1983 St. Marys Gate, Walkerville) on Wednesday March 22, 2017 from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Archdeacon Jane Humphreys officiating. Interment to follow at St. Marys Church Yard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Marys Anglican Church.
