Obituary of Ilie Munteanu

MUNTEANU, ILIE. Passed away suddenly at WRH, Met. Campus on March 13, 2017, at the age of 82 years. Re-united with his beloved wife Ayten (nee Halil). Loving father to Leyla Munteanu and husband Nicu Dogaru, Gulis Baltes and husband Cornel. Cherished Buni to Diana, Isabella, Anthony, and Danielle. Ilie retired in Romania as a coach, where he trained athletes in kayaking in Hunedoara. He also enjoyed wood sculpturing in his retirement. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 7-9 pm, with prayers at 7:30 pm. Friends will be received on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at St. George's Romanian Orthodox Cathedral for visitation from 9:30 am untilk time of Funeral Service at 10 am. The Very Rev. Fr.
