Obituary of Edmund Gignac

Gignac, Edmund Alvin Passed away peacefully with family present on March 9, 2017 at Banwell Gardens Nursing Home at the age of 103 years. Predeceased by his wife Philomena (1985) and son Alphonse (2014). Brother of Francis Gignac. Father of Christine Pinsonneault (Vincent), Leah Hudak, Elaina Shean (Dennis), Edmund Gignac (Maureen), Benedict Gignac (Charlene), Alphonse Gignac (2014)(Diane), Joseph Gignac (Lori), Catherine Bechard (William 2010), Theresa Tidemann (Bruce), Timothy Gignac, and Thomas Gignac (Sharon). Survived by 21 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend out a sincere thank you to the staff at Banwell Gardens for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E, 519.253.7234 on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9pm. Parish prayers at 4pm. Visitation will resume on Monday, March 13, 2017 at St Theresa Church (1991 Norman Rd) 12:30pm until time of Funeral Mass at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
