Obituary of Monika Glavota

GLAVOTA Monika (nee Stipic) Passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017, with her family at her side, at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus, at the age of 74 years. Beloved wife of the late Miljenko (2004). Loving mother of the late Lidija, Mate and wife Paula, Domagoj and wife Meredyth, and Hrvoje and wife Sarah. Dearest Baba of Sabrina, Thomas, Ellie, Charlotte, and John. Beloved daughter of the late Ivica and Ruzica. Dear sister to Stjepan, Ante, Kruno, Srecko, Mila, Cmiljka, Iva, Zdravka, Lidyja, and Ijacinta. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Monika will be sadly missed by all of Miljenko's brothers and sisters and their families in Hercegovina and Croatia, as well as by Kumovi, and many friends. Mrs. Glavota was retired from General Motors, and was a faithful and devoted member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL(Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Rd., E. 519.253.7234 on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers Friday at 8pm. Funeral Services on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 10:15am from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 11am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Monikas life, donations may be made to Karitas.
